Anna Maxine Thompson                     Date of Death: December 13, 2007

Anna M. Thompson, 89, of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, December 13, 2007 at Gables Health Care Center. She was born September 26, 1918 in Deersville, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert & Besse Mallernee Young. Anna retired from Leicy’s Pharmacy and the Community Action Council. Preceding Anna in death were her husband Fred Thompson and two brothers John & Blaine Young. Surviving are her daughters Sylvia (Tom) Downing and Christine (Ralph) Heilman both of Steubenville; 5 grandchildren Michael Downing, Amy (Donny) Dixon, Jason Downing, Alan Heilman & Heather (Artie) Miller; and 4 great grandchildren Ian & Payton Dixon, Brooke Heilman & Shelby Miller. Graveside services 2 p.m. Friday at Patterson Union Cemetery in Deersville with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating.
