Alice M. Lucas, 82, of Richmond, Ohio died Tuesday October 3, 2006 at Trinity West. She was born February 6, 1924 a daughter of the late Harry and Blanche Hart Walter. She attended Richmond United Methodist Church. Preceding Alice in death were her husband Wilbur E. Lucas, Sr. on December 11, 1985; two grandchildren; and ten siblings. Surviving are three sons Edgar E. “Ed” (Frances) Lucas of Richmond, OH, Robert D. “Bob” Lucas of Mingo Junction, OH, and Wilbur E. “Bill” (Patty) Lucas of Wintersville, OH; three daughters Barbara (Tom) Gorman of Tampa, FL, Donna Higgins of Richmond, OH, and Sandra Snyder of Columbus, OH; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and brother Earl (Ida) Walter of Bloomingdale, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Friday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Carol Smith officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
