Betty L. Irvin Maderia, 82, of Rayland, Ohio died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Palliative Care. She was born October 28, 1924 in Follansbee, WV a daughter of the late Alden and Florence Lantz Blosser. Betty was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church and retired as a primary school teacher from Buckeye Local Schools. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Paul E. Irvin. Surviving are her husband John Maderia; son David (Deeanna) Irvin of Rayland; daughter Pauline Irvin of Rayland; sister Bernice Monter; and three grandchildren. Friends may call at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Robert Glasgow officiating. Arrangements by Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home Wintersville. Burial at Holly Memorial. Per the family’s request no flowers are to be sent.
