Dorothy V. McCafferty 77 of Mingo Junction, OH died Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at Trinity West, Steubenville. She was born in Mingo Junction on April 13, 1925 a daughter of the late David E. and Alberta Wrixon Duncan. She was Protestant by faith, and belonged to LaBelle Chapter # 414, Order of Eastern Star. She was retired from Conrail, where she had been a dispatcher. Proceeded in death by husband William Arthur McCafferty (died: July 10, 1997), brothers Edward, Jack, Paul, Valgene and Phillip Duncan. She is survived by her son William McCafferty and his wife Jody of Steubenville, brother Robert Duncan of Dillonvale, OH, sister Patricia Finnerty of Mingo Junction, niece Jane Crisante of Mingo Junction, several other nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Ave., Mingo Junction, OH. Private services at the families request. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mingo Fire Department
