Edward G. Kotora                                Date of Death: February 10, 2003

Edward G. “Ed” Kotora 66 of Steubenville, OH died Monday, February 10, 2003 at his home of natural causes. He was born in Mingo Junction, OH on October 12, 1936 a son of the late George and Martha Kniszek Kotora. He was retired from Ohio Edison, Stratton, OH where he was a mechanic and welder. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #45 F&AM, Steubenville Shriners, Aladdin Temple of Columbus, National Rifle Association, was an avid sportsman and loved to travel and he will be greatly missed by his animal family. Upon his retirement he made a 2nd career of refurbishing homes, a job and a joy (This is what he wanted to do). He is survived by wife Nancy Baker Kotora, whom he married 6-27-59, sisters Elizabeth A. (William) Crothers of Wintersville, Martha Jean (John) Hannen of Huntington Beach, CA, Mary Jane (Dominic) Tiberio of Steubenville, Dorothy Kotora Barker of Beaver, PA, brother John S. (Judy) Kotora of Aurora, OH, 3 nieces, 5 nephews, 5 great nieces, 2 great nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M., where funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be private. Masonic service Thursday 7:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bosney Densmore Animal Shelter, Valley Glenn Rd., Wintersville, OH, any Masonic organization, Aladdin Temple, Shriners Childrens Hospital, or National Rifle Association.
