Emil L. Bacich 73 of Steubenville, Ohio formerly of Weirton, WV died Thursday, November 29, 2001 at Trinity West. He was born near Morgantown, WV on June 27, 1928 a son of the late Frank and Emilia Grbac Bacich. He was preceeded in death by his first wife Madlyn Paro Bacich in 1989; a son Joseph Bacich; one sister Goldie Porco and one stepdaughter Melinda Quiring. Emil retired from Weirton Steel Co. Tin Mill Lab and was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Steubenville; The Funseekers and The Gadabouts; Croatian Fraternal Union; Steubenville Country Club; Weirton Elks and Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. Surviving are his wife Ruth C. Fonow Quiring Bacich; one daughter Renee Strane of Wintersville; one stepdaughter Helena M. Quiring of Steubenville; one sister Francie McMenamin of Steubenville and daughter-in-law Leslie Bacich of Follansbee, WV. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass on Monday 10 a.m. at St. Pius Church with Rev. Leonard Cencula officiating. Entombment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton, WV Vigil services 2:45 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius Church or Pittsburgh Childrens Hospital.
