Evelyn P. Davis 83 of Steubenville died Saturday, July 12, 2003 at Dixon Health Care Center, Wintersville. She was born in Cameron, WV on December 4, 1919 a daughter of the late Carl and Laura Goodnight Grim. She had worked at the former Ohio Valley Hospital, Steubenville as a nurse’s aide. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy A. Davis he died 1-3-1983, sons Richard and Jack Davis, brothers Hubert and Phillip Grim, sisters Edith Hall, Betty Frontz, Dorothy Crawford, son-in-law Frank Doomy. She is survived by sons Lenny (Rose) Davis of Longview, TX, Jerry (Cindy) Davis of Las Vegas, NV, daughter Sharon Doomy of Winston-Salem, NC, brother Ronald Grim of Salem, OH, sisters Mary Bentley and Virginia Grim, both of Salem, OH, Lillian Johnson of Florida and Janet Hoffman of Houston, TX, daughters-in-law Judy Davis and Nora (John) Bosela, 19 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., , where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Roy Henry officiating. Burial at Center Chapel Cemetery, Steubenville, OH.
