Evelyn U. Strausbaugh 92 of Wintersville, OH died Wednesday, June 2, 2004 at her home of natural causes. She was born in Steubenville on October 12, 1911 a daughter of the late Edward and Jessie B. Tarr Elson. Evelyn was a bookkeeper at the former Dixon Reality. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul R. Strausbaugh, a brother Joseph Elson, sisters Erma Janet Taylor, Laila Dixon, Mary Elinor Scott and Rachel Tolbert. She is survived by her sister Gladys M. Westover of Steubenville and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 4-7p.m., where funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11a.m. with Pastor Louis Craig officiating. Burial will be private.
