Frances Doan Dillon                            Date of Death: November 30, 2004

Frances Forrest Doan Dillon 85 of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Liverpool, WV on August 31, 1919 a daughter of the late Clyde and Lorena Short Burgess. She was a retired employee of the former Fort Steuben Hotel and a homemaker. Preceding Frances in death were her husband Clifford O. Dillon on March 28, 2003; one daughter Hazel Doan; and four brothers Coleman, Romie, George and Clifford Burgess. Surviving are her children Lucille (Paul) Medich of Wintersville, Curtis (Joan) Doan of Wintersville and Bill (Carol) Doan of Bloomingdale; eight grandchildren Kurtis (Pamela) Doan, Kevin (Beth) Doan, Darla Eckersberg, Amiee (Frank) Byers, Valerie (Kerry) DiDomenico, Krissy (Mike) Freshwater, Michael (Sherri) Medich and Paula (Robert) Nolfsinger; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters Virginia Matthews of Canton, Ohio and Betty Merkle of Sardis, Ohio; and one brother John Burgess of Georgia. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorials may directed to Valley Hospice, Inc.
