G. Irene Shepherd 74 of Wintersville, Ohio died Thursday, February 13, 2003 at her home of natural causes. She was born in Smithfield, Ohio on March 14, 1928 the daughter of the late John A. and Ethel Marie Pasco Stout. Preceded in death by her husband Daniel Shepherd (1989), a son Michael Allen Ruckman, two sisters Margaret Stout and Virginia Hanson and two brothers Frank and Paul Stout. She was a auxiliary member of the American Legion Post #573 Brilliant, Ohio. She is survived by two daughters Nancy Janine Dutting of Wintersville and Karen Ann (Carl) Price of Cadiz, Ohio, two sisters Rose Tate of Brilliant, Ohio and Juanita (John) York of Youngstown, Ohio, stepdaughter Kimberly (Jamie) Moore of Steubenville and a brother Michael (Gail) Stout of Unionport, Ohio Eight Grandchildren and seven Great Grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. Rev. Thomas Bullard to officiate. Burial at New Alexandria Cemetery, New Alexandria, Ohio.
