Geraldine I. Shell, 89, of Toronto, Ohio died Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Country Club Manor. She was born September 1, 1917 in Dillonvale, Ohio the daughter of the late Foster V. and Ethel Johnson Allmon. She retired from the former Ohio Valley Hospital as a nurses’ aide in the maternity & pediatric departments. Geraldine was a member and deacon at First Christian Church. Preceding Geraldine in death were her husband Raymond Shell and two brothers Vernon Allmon & Gilbert Lotz. Surviving are her children Janet Saner of Toronto and Allan Shell of Steubenville; three grandchildren Colleen VanKirk, Amy Durbin & Eric Saner; one great grandson Christian Durbin; and two sisters-in-law Roberta Lotz & Helen Allmon. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Tom Bullard officiating.
