Hazel I. Mance 88 of Steubenville, Ohio died Friday, January 24, 2003 at Trinity West. She was born in Smithfield, Ohio on April 27, 1914 a daughter of the late Victor and Anna Chambers Grafton and a member of the Civil Service League of Steubenville. Hazel was a hairdresser at the former Adoration Beauty Salon in Steubenville. She was preceded in death by her first husband Barney Martin in 1945; her second husband Charles Mance in 1984 and one brother Roy Grafton. Surviving are one son Dennis (Roberta) Martin of Steubenville; one daughter Marsha (Ira) Jarvis of Sewickley, PA; four grandchildren and three sisters Myrtle Dalrymple of Youngstown, Ohio, Eleanor Huston of Lutz, FL and Faye Cassity of Kodak, TN. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Monday 2-4 & 7-9; where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Charles Shoe officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
