Helen L. Jackson, 84, of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Sunday, September 17, 2006 at Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit. She was born January 5, 1922 in New Martinsville, WV a daughter of the late Chris and Cora Wilson Willis. She was a member of the Polish National Alliance. Preceding Helen in death were her husband John W. Jackson, Jr.; son John W. “JJ” Jackson. III; grandson John Raymond Tylor Jackson; and brother Arthur Willis. Surviving are her daughters Barbara A. (Mark) Porter of Steubenville and Janet M. (James) Porter of Brilliant, OH; son Arthur L. Jackson of Mingo Junction; many grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Friends may call at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home in Mingo Junction on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Thursday 1 p.m. with Rev. John Ater officiating. Burial at Oakland Cemetery.
