James Edward Wrenn, Sr. Date of Death: May 02, 2007


James Edward "Jim" Wrenn, Sr., CCRN, 58, of Wintersville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at his residence after battling a lengthy illness. He was born June 25, 1948 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Edward V. and Betty J. Davis Wrenn. James served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He served as an EMT in Steubenville for several years before becoming one of the city’s first paramedics and later retired from the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh as a critical care registered nurse. James was a church group counselor when he was younger, a member of Skyhawk Model Airplane Club and YMCA Power Lifting Club in the 70’s. James is survived by his wife Lynda K. Costlow Wrenn; two sons James E. (fiancé Kira Chichick) Wrenn II of Wintersville and David C. (Eve) Wrenn of St. Cloud, Minnesota; five grandchildren; three sisters Judy (John) Mallett of Mingo Junction, OH, Joan (David) Kalifut of Kentucky and Jill (Eugene, Jr.) Tucker of Weirton, WV and 24 nieces and nephews. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Doug Roush & Shelly Parish. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held Saturday 10 a.m. with Rev.
