John D. Bruno 82 of Weirton, WV died Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born in Mingo Junction, Ohio on February 12, 1920 a son of the late John and Susan Swartz Bruno. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Steubenville and a US Army veteran of WWII. John was a retired transportation clerk at Weirton Steel Co. He was preceded in death by an infant brother John and a sister Anna Cousley. Surviving are two brothers Edward W. (Susan) Bruno of Steubenville and Francis “Dan” (Patricia) Bruno of Mingo Jct. Friends may call at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Avenue, Mingo Junction on Friday 7-9 p.m. On Saturday, Friends may call at St. Mark Lutheran Church from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Burial at Oakland Cemetery, Mingo Junction, Ohio.
