John L. Cook, 39 of Wintersville, OH died Friday, June 21, 2002 at home. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on June 8, 1963. John was Protestant by faith; a 1981 graduate of Mingo High School and an employee of Lewis & Monroe Tree Service in Pennsylvania. He is survived by his parents James L. and Betty J. Berger Cook, Sr. with whom he resided; one brother James L. (Cheryl) Cook, Jr. of Wintersville; two sisters Ruth Ann Perine of Steubenville and Joyce E. Cook of Mingo Junction; two nephews and three nieces Brian, James C., Tricia, Melissa and Ashley. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Charles Shoe officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville. Memorial contributions may be made to Rosemont Chapel.
