John W. “Woody” Morris 81 of Steubenville, Ohio died Friday, December 3, 2004 at Trinity West. He was born in Kolomont, Ohio on January 27, 1923 a son of the late Walter and Rena Phillips Morris. Woody retired from National Steel Corp. and served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Vivian J. Turner Morris whom he married on May 29, 1946; children John (Judy) Morris of Weirton and Dorlis (Joe) Menendez of Tuscon, AZ; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and siblings Russell (Gerrie) Morris of Dewey, AZ, Paul (Ruth) Morris of Steubenville and Edna Vinck of Globe, AZ. Services will be private.
