Joseph H. Bennett 74 of Wintersville, OH died Monday, December 31, 2001 at Dixon Health Care Center, Wintersville, OH. He was born in Atlanta, GA on February 2, 1927 the son of the late William J. Bennett. A retired foreman from the Timet Corp. in Toronto, OH, he was a Methodist by faith and a Navy veteran of W.W.II. He is survived by his wife Betty Anna Yenchochic Bennett whom he married March 10, 1948; four sons William Joseph (Maria) Bennett of Wintersville, OH, Edward Lee (Mayra) Bennett of Leona, NJ, Ronald Michael (Patricia) Bennett of Steubenville, OH, and Christopher Lewis (Kimberly) Bennett of Columbus, OH; one daughter Cheryl Ann (Michael) Flansaas of Reno, NV. Grandfather of nine. Private funeral services will be held Thursday at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH with Rev. Richard L. Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to be directed to American Cancer or American Diabetes Associations.
