Katheryn E. Vandeborne, 73, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Monday, May 7, 2007 at Wheeling Park Hospital. She was born December 18, 1933 in Hardeman, Tennessee a daughter of the late George and Marie Brumett Homol. Katheryn was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and a social member of FOP Lodge #97. She was a former operator for General Electric Telephone . Preceding Katheryn in death were her husband Louis Vandeborne on April 8, 1994 and three brothers. Surviving are her son Louis (Renee) Vandeborne II of Wintersville, OH; daughter Kimberly (Vernon) Jackson of Steubenville, OH; five grandchildren Justin and Miranda Nicholson, Vernon Jackson, Austin and Kacie Vandeborne; brother Steve Homol of Iva, SC and two sisters Mary Ann (Donald) Kontra of Glendale, AZ and Carol (Wayne) Jones of Atlanta, GA. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Friday 11:30 a.m. with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating. Burial at Holly Memorial Gardens.
