Kathleen M. “Dolly” Melko, 84, of Steubenville, Ohio died Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at her home. She was born August 1, 1922 in Harbor Boucher, Nova Scotia a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen De Coste Brow. Dolly was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and CWC. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael A. Melko on August 18, 2006; two sons James and Michael J. Melko; and brother Stevie Brow. Surviving are two daughters Barbara Bradley of Wintersville, OH and Kathy (David) Sampson of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren Richard H. (Susan) Bradley II of Toronto, OH, Christopher M. Bradley and his fiancée Sabrina, Antonette (Robert) Wright, and Michelle Stephen all of Wintersville, OH, and James W. (Edith) Melko of Mingo Junction, OH; eight great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Kathy Melko of Mingo Junction, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 12 noon Thursday at Holy Rosary with Rev. David Cornett celebrating. Vigil Service 5 p.m. Wednesday. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Holy Rosary Church, Associated Home Health or Charity Hospice.
