Kenneth D. Cornish                              Date of Death: February 12, 2007

Kenneth D. Cornish, 81, of Wintersville, Ohio died Monday, February 12, 2007 at Arbors of Canton. He was born January 13, 1926 in Uniontown, PA, a son of the late Lawrence and Mary Dunlevy Cornish. In addition to being a land developer and home builder, Ken was the owner of Cornish Plumbing & Heating. The subdivisions Ken developed were Skyview Manor, Bantam Ridge Development, Dana Lynn Manor, Susan Circle, Orchard Place & Karen Place. He was Catholic by faith and a past member of the Home Builders Association. Preceding Ken in death were three brothers Lawrence, James & Robert Cornish. Ken is survived by his wife Louise B. Kifer Cornish; son Kenneth David (Debbie) Cornish, Jr. of Bloomingdale; daughters Susan (Edward Dougala) Cornish of Broadview Heights, Ohio and Dana (Ronald) Snider of Wintersville; four grandchildren Michael Snider, Loren Cornish, Joseph Snider & Eric Cornish; and one brother Gerald Cornish of Richmond, Ohio. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Msgr. Gerald E. Calovini officiating. Entombment services at Sylvan Heights Cemetery in Uniontown, PA at 2 p.m. Thursday.
