Louis J. “Lou” Parcell 79 of Wintersville, OH died Sunday, February 16, 2003 at Dixon Health Care Center, Wintersville. He was born on July 16, 1923 in Dennison, OH a son of the late Alven and Ida Parcell. Retired from Cross Creek Township, where he worked on the maintenance crew. He was Christian by faith and was a member of American Legion #557 Wintersville. U.S. Army veteran WWII. Preceded in death by 1st wife Bernice Underwood Parcell, 2nd wife Dorothy Dayton, 6 brothers and sisters. Survived by son Larry (Demetrice) Parcell of Houston, TX, step-daughter Shirley (Larry) Pool of Richmond, OH, companion Marge Herman of Wintersville, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Wednesday 7-9 P.M., where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 A.M. with Pastor Dan Darulla officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
