Martha Jane Seipel                                Date of Death: February 4, 2007

Martha Jane Seipel, 75, of Steubenville, Ohio died peacefully Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Trinity West. She was born June 28, 1931 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Dr. Ralph H. and Martha Burns Harrison. Martha graduated from Wilson College. She was a member, elder and Sunday schoolteacher at Starkdale Prebyterian Church. Martha Jane volunteered for twenty-seven years at St. John Medical Center and was a founding member of Valley Hospice. She also held membership at Steubenville Country Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Nancy Graham. Martha Jane is survived by her husband Harry Seipel; two sons Dr. Mark H. (Julie) Seipel of Virginia Beach, VA and Dr. Scott H. (DeeAnn) Seipel of Avon Lake, OH; seven grandchildren Laura, Casey, Shane, Lynna, Zac, Summer and Max. A memorial service will be held Friday 2 p.m. at Starkdale Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Philip Makari officiating.
