Shirley A. Mark 64 of Mingo Junction, OH died Saturday, January 25, 2003 at Trinity Medical Center West. She was born in Steubenville, OH on November 14, 1938 a daughter of the late Daniel Meadows. She was a retired nurse at the former St. John Hospital, Steubenville, and was a member of the Weirton Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her husband James A. “Jim” Mark (died 5-7-2000). Survived by son Richard “Rick” (Kim) Mark of Wintersville, daughters Kim Mark of Mingo Junction and Jami (Thomas) Wedlake of Richmond, OH, mother Kathryn Bowman Meadows of Steubenville, brothers Richard “Dick” Meadows of Toronto, OH, John and Dana Meadows both of Steubenville, sisters Carol DiMaria of Phoenix, AZ, Barbara Kowalsky, Sandra Houchin and Lynda Spence all of Steubenville, grandchildren Shannan Wedlake, Matthew Mark and Madison Smith. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at First Christian Church, 220 N. Fourth Street, Steubenville, with Rev. Doug Shoaff officiating. Private burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville. Arrangements by Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, Mingo Junction. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
