Thelma F. Copeland, 85 of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born in Steubenville on February 24, 1918 a daughter of the late Leroy B. and Marie Mildner Fisher. Thelma was a member of Zion United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband R. Dale Copeland. Surviving are one son Michael D. Copeland of Pataskala, Ohio; two daughters Susan (George “Pete”) Newman of Steubenville and Kristen (Dale) Christ of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and two sisters Ruth Soltis of Wintersville and Virginia Menear of Westlake, Ohio. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Tom Bullard officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
