Thomas E. “Tom” Hess 57 of Steubenville, OH died Sunday, October 3, 2004 at Trinity West. He was born in Steubenville on January 12, 1947 a son of the late Olin and Lusetta Hall Hess. Tom was Catholic by faith and a 4th degree Knight of Columbus. He was preceded in death by brothers Robert, Frank and Olin Hess and a sister Virgina Hess. He is survived by his son Joseph Hess of Steubenville; two sisters Jayne McLaughlin of California and E. Janet Sine of Virginia; and two grandchildren Pamela Bailey Hess and Joseph Edward Hess II. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Tuesday from 7-9p.m., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
