Virginia R. Wiegand                             Date of Death: February 21, 2007

Virginia Rose Wiegand, 95, of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Villa Royale. She was born July 30, 1911 in St. Louis, MO a daughter of the late Rev. William F. and Louise C. Rose Wilk. A 1932 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Virginia was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She was a retired schoolteacher in Clayton, MO and Shawnee-Mission, KS. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Preceding Virginia in death were her husband Charles John Wesley Wiegand; daughter Alice (late John A.) Tamasi and sister Alice Wilk Dunlop. Virginia is survived by her daughter Mary Lou (Charles B.) McCann of Steubenville; five grandchildren Charles Brian McCann, Kathleen V. McCann, Bernadette (Joseph) VerStraten, Molly (Jan) Yabs & Michael T. (April) McCann; and five great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 1:30 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Rev.
