Dorothy R. Diederich, 90, of Wintersville, Ohio died Monday, October 8, 2007 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1917 in Clearfield, PA a daughter of the late Clair and Cora Shaw Ennis. Dorothy was a member of First Christian Church, the church choir and Christian Women’s Fellowship. She was also a member of the YWCA of Steubenville and Ladies Auxiliary of B.R.T. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Harold W. Diederich; brother Robert C. Ennis and three sisters Emma Peters, Thelma Siegmond and Mary Katherine Ennis. Surviving are her daughter Bonny (James) Bond of Weirton, WV; son William H. Diederich of Kenly, NC; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where a service will be held Thursday 12:30 a.m. with Rev. Douglas Shoaff officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben. Memorial donations may be directed to First Christian Church.
