Janis Ann White Trikones                            Date of Death: July 05, 2007

After a courageous battle with cancer, Janis Ann White Trikones, 68, of Wintersville, Ohio was welcomed into the loving arms of the Father on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Valley Hospice Palliative Care. She was born October 29, 1938 in Wooster, Ohio, the only child of William M. and Kathryn E. Vance White. She was a member of Sycamore Tree U.M. Church and the U.M. Women; Steubenville Y.W.C.A.; Fort Steuben Chapter Daughters of American Revolution; National Day of Prayer Committee; Steubenville Aglow International; and Women of God Red Hat Society. Preceding Janis in death was her beloved husband James O. Trikones on June 20, 2001. Janis worked at several area businesses over the years including the Herald Star and Esquire Cleaners. Janis is survived by her son James W. (Lori) Trikones of Wellsburg; grandchildren Annika, Harrison, Rachel, Kaitlin, Alexander and Nicholas; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Saturday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Steve Modranski officiating.
