John T. "Jack" Gegick                          Date of Death: October 15, 2007

John T. “Jack” Gegick, 59, of Wintersville, Ohio died Monday, October 15, 2007 at Trinity West. He was born April 17, 1948 in Steubenville a son of the late John T. and Virginia A. Davis Gegick. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Jack was an employee of Mittal/ISG Steel B.O.P. Surviving are his wife Barbara A. Wise Gegick whom he married on August 5, 1972; son Shawn Gegick and daughter Heather Gegick both of Wintersville; and brother William Gegick of Mingo Junction. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church with Msgr. Gerald E. Calovini officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Vigil service 8:45 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be directed to Blessed Sacrament Church -OR- American Kidney Foundation
