Mary Lillian Hagy                                  Date of Death: October 27, 2007

Mary Lillian Hagy, 90, of Wintersville, Ohio died Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Valley Hospice Care Center, North. She was born July 26, 1917 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Joseph R. and Mary Leith Miller. Mary was a lifelong member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for the primary and junior departments. She was also a member of Mended Hearts Chapter #87. Mary was a 1935 graduate of Wells High School and a 1937 graduate of Richmond, Indiana School of Dentistry. Mary was a dental assistant for Howard and L.B. Peterson DDS. Surviving are her husband of 59 years James R. Hagy, Jr. whom she married on June 12, 1948; son James R. (Patricia) Hagy, III of Minerva, OH; three grandchildren James R. Hagy, IV of Minerva, OH, Denise (Dan) Selway of Waynesburg, OH and Beth Anne (Bill) Burkhart of Shreve, OH and six great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where a service will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. with Rev David Massimi officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben
