Nancy Carpenter Cape                          Date of Death: October 11, 2007

Nancy Carpenter Cape, 63, of Parrish, FL formerly of Wintersville, Ohio died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Blake Medical Center, Bradenton, FL. She was born August 24, 1944 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late James and Mary Reeder Carpenter. Nancy was a secretary at Jacobs Engineering in Lakeland, FL for many years. Nancy was preceded in death by two brothers Rex and Maurice Carpenter. Surviving are her husband Jerry Cape; two sons John (Shannon) Jones of Jacksonville, FL and Tim (Angie) Jones of St. Petersburg, FL; three brothers Benzel Carpenter, James (Hannah) Carpenter and Duane (Joan) Carpenter; three sisters Pat Szelast, Dorothy (Charles) Kenny and Helen (Vincent) Chociej; three grandchildren John, Jennifer and Hunter Jones; two great grandchildren; six step children and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Friday 11 a.m. at Starkdale Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Philip Makari officiating.
