Anna E. Walkosky

Anna E. Walkosky, 73, of Steubenville, OH passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Steubenville on April 27, 1941 a daughter of the late Peter and Lucille Vario Buffone.  She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was very active with her family.  She was the former owner and operator of Anna’s Flower Box in Steubenville.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Paul.  Anna is survived by her husband Michael J. Walkosky they were married by Bishop John King Mussio on June 5, 1963; sons Michael (Sharon) Walkosky of Wintersville, Joseph Walkosky of Steubenville and David (Wendy) Walkosky of Toledo, OH; sisters Mary Vallera of Boston, MA, Joann (Brian) Moore of Ft. Myers, FL and Lucille Buffone and her companion Rich Davis of Imperial, PA; grandchildren Erika, Joey, Jessica, Nicole, Courtney, Paulo, Nicolo, Matteo and Giano.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Tuesday from 3-8p.m.  Funeral liturgy with mass will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerald Calovini as celebrant.  Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
