Mary Elaine (Creegan) Feist

Mary Elaine Creegan Feist, 58, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away suddenly on January 18, 2017.   Born on June 8, 1958 in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Mary Elaine was the oldest child of Dr. George R. Creegan and the late JoAnn Quattrone Creegan. A lifelong resident of Steubenville, Mary Elaine graduated from Catholic Central with the class of 1976. On April 11, 1980, she married Thomas Michael Feist at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. While raising her two sons, she worked devotedly for her parents’ business, The Creegan Company. In her free time, Mary Elaine enjoyed reading, playing softball, and spending time with family and friends. Together with her husband, she was a cherished and selfless caregiver to her father, mother-in-law, and many, many others. Mary Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Tom; her two sons, Christopher and Ian (Lorianne); her father, George; her mother-in-law, Marty; her sisters Kathleen (Joseph Purcell) Postlewait  and Joanie (Charles) Benzo; her brother Sean (Jean) Creegan; uncle John (MaryLynn) Quattrone; nieces and nephews who affectionately called her “Mimi,” Christine (Michael) Da Mata, Sean Ryan Creegan, Kyle Creegan, Jennifer Benzo, Elliott Postlewait, Caitlyn Benzo, and Joseph Benzo; and countless more nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Preceded in death and welcoming her in Heaven is her mother, JoAnn Creegan; her grandparents Frank and Carmela Quattrone and Gerald and Maxine Creegan; her beloved friends Tom Potasnik and Alan Benzo; and her K-9 companion, Buster.
