Rita V. Marciniak

Rita V. Marciniak, 90, of Steubenville died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Trinity West.  She was born in Canton, OH on July 12, 1924 a daughter of the late Herbert and Ella Johanning Dover.  Rita had been a member of Holy Name Cathedral and the P.N.A Club.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert M. Marciniak, Sr.; sons Robert M. Marciniak, Jr. and Timothy Lee Marciniak; brothers Ralph, Raymond and Herbert Dover and sisters Dorothy Davis and Helen Stanley.  Rita is survived by her daughter Debra E. (Charles) Dodd of Weirton, WV; son David (Patricia) Marciniak of Steubenville; sisters Louise White and Mary (John) Simon both of Canton, OH; daughter-in-laws Becky Marciniak of Steubenville and Sharon Stephens of Wintersville; 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Friday from 6-8p.m. and on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 11a.m. until time of services at 12:30p.m. with Fr. Thomas Nau officiating.  Burial at Union Cemetery.
