Ellen M. Jackson

Ellen M. Jackson, 88, of Steubenville, Ohio died Friday, July 25, 2008 at Lancia Villa Royale, Steubenville.  She was born in Steubenville on October 19, 1919 the daughter of the late James G. and Elizabeth P. Wilson Gracey.  Ellen was  preceded in death by her husband Ernest L. Jackson in 1987.  She was a member of Starkdale Presbyterian Church,  was past president of Steubenville Womens Club, past president of Martha Manor, member of Ohio Valley Twig and a graduate of the former Wells High School.  Ellen is survived by her son John S. (Vanda) Jackson of Florida, Ernest L. Jackson of Steubenville and Duane L. ( Betty Anne) Jackson of Steubenville; grandchildren Gretchen, John, Rachel, Christine and Diana Jackson, and 4 great grandchildren.  Friends may call on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9p.m. at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville.  Friends may also call on Wednesday from 9:30a.m. until time of service  at 10a.m. at Starkdale Presbyterian Church, Steubenville with Rev. Thomas Bullard officiating.  Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Martha Manor.
