



Judith Ann “Judy” Sullivan, 67, of Steubenville, Ohio, went home to be with her “Heavenly Father” on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Magee-Women’s Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born in Mingo Junction, OH on January 8, 1941 the daughter of the late John and Anne Marcinko Mattey. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, aunts and father-in-law. Judy was a member of the former New Horizon Community Church, PCA and was presently attending Wintersville Church of Christ. She graduated from Mingo High School in 1958 and currently celebrated her 50th reunion. Judy held employment at one time with Tidd Generating Division and Second United Presbyterian pre-school and currently is a Medical Transcriptionist with Valley Eye Care Center. Devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her husband Burke D. Sullivan Jr., whom she married on December 12, 1963; two sons, Burke J. (Carrie) Sullivan of Wintersville and Todd A. (Deborah) of Massillion, OH; four grandchildren, Burke Charles, Marcus Todd, Sean Michael and Michael Patrick Sullivan; mother-in-law, Mildred Sullivan of Wintersville; and sister, Dorothy Huggins. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville, TODAY from 3-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Walter Coppersmith to officiate. Burial at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Wintersville Church of Christ -or- Valley Hospice. The family wishes to acknowledge the “special care” provided them by the doctors and staff of Magee Women’s and Trinity West hospitals.
