



Loretta F. Bell, 70, of Steubenville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Valley Hospice North after battling cancer. She was born October 5, 1939 in Dillonvale a daughter of the late Fred & Odessa Davenport Clore. She was a member of New Somerset Christian Church; Women of the Moose Auxiliary #586; and a volunteer for Cameo of the American Cancer Society. Loretta was awarded Woman of the Year from Cameo. She was a 1957 graduate of Wayne High School and Jefferson Community College’s LPN program. Loretta was employed at the former Ohio Valley Hospital; former St. John Medical Center and the office of Dr. Milorad Milic. Preceding Loretta in death were three brothers Glenn, James & Robert Clore and four sisters infant Mildred, Frances Gatto, Aidene Cole & Billie Trossan. Surviving are her husband William Bell; son Howard (Lisa) Bell of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren William, Elizabeth Faith & Lauren Bell; sister Norma Torcasio of Somers Point, NJ; mother-in-law Hester N. Bell of Steubenville; sister-in-law Janet Clore of Toronto; brother-in-law Carl (Judy) Bell of Dover; several nieces & nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday 7-9 p.m.; Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Minister Rob Rowe officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Shriners Hospital -or- Valley Hospice, Inc.
