Luella A. Ruth Lambing

Luella A. Ruth Lambing, 77, of Steubenville died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Bolger Country Club Manor.  Luella was born in Jefferson County on October 18, 1931 a daughter of the late Abraham F. Leasure and the late Leona M. Gardner. Luella was a life long member of the Jefferson County Historical Society.  She was preceded in death by husband Paul Richard Lambing, whom she married on August 3, 1948 and he died on October 11, 1988; brother Harlan “Pete” Leasure.  Luella is survived by her son Paul R. Lambing, Jr. and his friend Alicia Wasik of Steubenville; sisters Jean (Virgil) Ritchie of Sardis, OH and Marlene (Lloyd) Lohr of Fly, OH; brother Rev. Charles W. (Dr. June Ruff) Leasure of Barnesville, OH; 11 nephews and nieces.  At the request of the family there will be no visitation for Luella.  Burial will be at Union Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or Mennonite Relief Fund, Kidron,
