Mark Karas

Mark Karas, 50, of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Thursday, February 12, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Steubenville on February 10, 1959. He was a retired mail carrier for the US Postal Service. Preceding Mark in death were his mother Mildred “Babe” Karas Ardito and stepfather Geno Ardito.

Surviving are his wife Jacqueline McCord Karas and children Lacey, Danny & Kealy Karas all of Mingo Junction; many uncles, aunts and cousins including Daniel & Sophia Kakasick who played a very special role in Mark’s life.  Family and friends are invited to attend memorial services on Saturday, 1p.m. at Stratton Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Steve Johnson officiating.  A reception will follow at Stratton Fire Hall  In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the family.
