Nicholas Giannaras

Nicholas Giannaras, 92, of Steubenville passed away on October 14, 2008 at Trinity West following an extended illness. He was born in Dorothy, WV on July 4, 1916 the son of the late Vasily and Eleni Servos Giannaras.  Nick was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.  Preceded in death by his wife Stella Walenciej Giannaras; son Kosta Giannaras; son-in-law Richard Cunningham.  Nick is survived by daughters Elizabeth Cunningham of Curwensville, PA and Pauline Giannaras and her husband Don Morris of Guysville, OH; very special companion Dorothy Bertram and many other family and friends that loved him.  Private burial was held at Union Cemetery.
