Pauline B. Franklin

Pauline B. Franklin of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Trinity East. She was born in Steubenville a daughter of the late A.W. and Pauline Sadowski Babicz. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and the C.W.C. Pauline was a retired buyer for the former Hub of Steubenville, department manager at Kaufmanns and manager of 16 Plus. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceeded in death by her husband C. Fred Franklin in 1987, two brothers Stanley & Frank Babicz and sister Frances Giannini. Pauline’s favorite things in life were her family and playing cards.

Surviving are her children Charles F. (Marie) Franklin of New Cumberland, WV, Randy W. (Linda) Franklin of Wintersville, David A. (Christine) Franklin of Steubenville, Rebecca “Becky” M. (Regis) Whiteside of Wintersville, Carla F. (Tony) Cafero of Las Vegas, NV; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother-in-law Joseph P. Giannini and sister-in-law Nellie Babicz both of Steubenville.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Friday 4-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass at noon Saturday at St. Peters Church with Msgr. George Yontz officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Vigil service 7:45 p.m. Friday.
