William J. "Bo" Bell

William J. “Bo” Bell, 77, of Wintersville, Ohio died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Acuity Specialty Hospital.  He was born March 10, 1932 in Rayland, OH a son of the late Andy and Hazel Matthews Bell.  Bo retired as an electrician from Weirton Steel and was an Air Force veteran during the Korean War.  He was also a former member of Mingo Sportsman Club.  Preceding Bo in death were his wife Beverly Pickford Bell; daughter Penny Bell DeFranco; brothers Sonny, Pete and Sherman Bell and sister Myrtle “Punch” Bell.  Surviving are his daughters Lynn Bell LaPenna-Haines of Wintersville, OH and Pam (Jim) Williams of Lake Arrowhead, CA; sons Will and Richard Bell both of Fort Meyers, FL; brother Raymond Bell of Wintersville, OH; five grandchildren and one great grandson.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Friday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. where services will be held Saturday 10 a.m. with Pastor Ronald Miller officiating.  Burial at Fort Steuben where military honors will be provided by Wright Patterson Air Force Base Honor Guard.
