Candace "Candi" Simpson

Candace “Candi” Cunningham Simpson, 41, of Mingo Junction, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.  She was born August 21, 1968 a daughter of the late William and Linda Keenan Cunningham of Weirton, WV.  Candi was a member of Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church in Jewett, OH.  She was actively involved with Indian Creek High School Band, where she served as Band Booster President.  She was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.  She was affectionately known by all of her “kids” as “Momma Candi”.  She was always a giver, and our hero is still giving as an organ donor, and her love will live on.  She is survived by those whom she loved with all of her heart, her husband Rob Simpson; two daughters Kalynne and Krysten Simpson; brother Bill (Laurie) Cunningham of Brilliant, OH; sister Cindy (Jamie) Rice of Bloomingdale, OH; three nieces Jessica and Logan Cunningham and Rebecca Rice; nephew Zane Cunningham and her in-laws Bob, Jeanne and Tracy Simpson. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Friday 1 – 4 & 6 – 9 p.m. where a service will be held Saturday 11 a.m. with Pastor Kirt Denny officiating.  Burial at Fort Steuben.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Indian Creek High School Band Boosters, c/o Indian Creek High School, 200 Park Drive, Wintersville, OH 43953.
