Dale Yeater

Dale Yeater, 86, of Weirton, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 15, 2010.  He was born September 5, 1924 in Ashley, West Virginia a son of the late Emory and Ada B. Haught Yeater.  Dale was a member of Church of God in Follansbee, WV.  He was a WW II veteran serving in the Air Force as a tail gunner on a B-25.  Dale was a member of American Legion Post #10 in Weirton, WV and Weirton VFW Post # 2716.  Preceding him in death were seven brothers and two sisters.  Surviving are his wife Elouise D. Hutchison Yeater; three daughters Deloris (Richard) Casler of Rock Hill, SC, Brenda Kay Yeater of Weirton, WV and Linda (Kevin) Amos of Steubenville, OH; four grandchildren Michael (Crystal) Casler, Melissa (Steve) Gamble, Kevin (Melissa) Amos and Erika (Greg) Gowin and nine great grandchildren.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Wednesday 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. where a service will be held Thursday 12:30 p.m. with Bishop Albert Mitchem and Jerry McNeely officiating.  Burial at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery where Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad will perform military honors.
