



Francis B. “Frank” Toth, 89 of Steubenville, OH died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Trinity West ER. He was born In Johnstown, PA on October 14, 1919 a son of the late Paul and Anna Mesaros Toth. Frank graduated from Johnstown High School in 1938. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942-1946 as a test pilot flying B29 Bombers during W.W.II. Following his military career Frank completed his engineering education in Michigan. He was employed as an assistant engineer at Connemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, PA. Relocating to Steubenville Frank was Director of Engineering and Maintenance at Ohio Valley Hospital from 1961 until retirement in 1987. During his career Mr. Toth was a member of several engineering associations. He was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus, Weirton Elks and St. Peters Catholic Church. In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 24 years Martha Bletch Toth. All seven of his siblings; brothers Paul, Joe and John Toth; sisters Anna Rovder, Helen Kuruzovich, Mary and Irene Toth; nieces Sylvia Kuruzovich Bastaga, Patricia Toth and Patricia Kuruzovich. Frank leaves his two daughters Cindy Toth of Steubenville and Barbara (John) Lawson of Dandrige, TN; grandchildren Katie (Wes) Moody of Knoxville, TN and Chris Lawson of Dandridge, TN; great granddaughter Dakota Moody of Knoxville, TN; nieces Frank and Joann Rovder of Johnstown, PA, Dave Kuruzovich of Johnstown, PA, Marquette Kuruzovich Komara, Gaithersburg, MD, Mark Kuruzovich of Dayton, OH, Maryann and Don Bryson of Youngstown, OH, Doug and Sue Bastaja of Johnstown, PA and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews and lady friend Alice Ryan. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Saturday from 6-8p.m. and Sunday 2-4 and 6-8p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be Monday, 10a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church, Steubenville with Msgr.
