



Frank A. “Red” Redmond, 68, of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born September 29, 1941 in Toronto, Ohio a son of the late Frank O. and Lillian Streb Redmond. Red was a journeyman electrician and a member of the IBEW local 246. Preceding Red in death were an infant son; sister Eileen Redmond and two brothers Ray and Tom Redmond. Surviving are his wife Phyllis L. (Pettis) Redmond; his children Melissa (Stan) Radcliffe of Florida, Rebecca Miller of Toronto, OH and Frank W. (P.J.) Redmond of Wintersville, OH; seven grandchildren David, Chelsea, Doug, Jalissa and Jessica Miller and Frankie and Tori Redmond; four sisters Doloris Kuhn, Vivian Kuhn, Carol Ely and Linda Kay Hodgkiss; and two brothers Robert and Donald Redmond. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville Friday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. where a service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with Minister Steve Smithbauer officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
