Genevieve Call "Genie" Wilson

Genevieve “Genie” Call Wilson, 89, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at Carriage House where she resided for the past 7 years. She was born June 19, 1920 in Steubenville a daughter of the late J. Stewart & Elizabeth Henderson Call. She was a member of LaBelle View Church of Christ. Preceding Genie in death were her husband Ralph W. Wilson, whom she married on July 8, 1940 and he died on April 27, 1998; brother C.C. Call; and sister Beatrice Call Williams.

Genie is survived by her daughter Sharon (Bob) Wilson of Steubenville; grandchildren Mark (Paulene) Wilson of Columbus, OH & Robin (Doug) Longenecker of Freeland, MI; five great grandchildren Luke and Reed Wilson and Hayley, Wilson and Mara Longenecker; and sister Jackie Peters of Miami, FL.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Tom Arehart officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
