Mary Bryden
Mary Bryden, 83, of Steubenville, Ohio died Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born in Steubenville on July 13, 1925 a daughter of the late George and Julia Mandich. She was a member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church and a 1943 graduate of Steubenville High School. After graduating from Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing, she cared for patients and family members for over 60 years. Preceding Mary in death were her brother Paul and sister Helen Eannottie.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mary is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert V. “Bob” Bryden; daughter Juli A. (Dana) Paquette and their daughter Sara; son Robert G. (Kathy) Bryden and their children Jess, Krista, Joanna, Melody (Jeff) Marshall, Jon, and Mary Patricia; great grandchildren Caspian & Hope Marshall; brother Mike (Lee) Mandich; and two nieces Terry Conrad and her sons Jeff & Danny and Leanne Mandich and her son Michael.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 6-9 p.m. and on Friday at Holy Resurrection Serbian Church from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at noon with Very Rev. Rade Merick officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
Pomen services 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
