



Nancy J. Ohler, 74, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010 at Bolger Country Club Manor. She was born August 22, 1935 in Weirton, WV a daughter of the late Clayton O. and Audrey F. Davis Farnsworth. Nancy retired after 47 years of service as Secretary/Treasurer with Slates Sanitary Service. She was a member of Wintersville United Methodist Church where she was actively involved in the Choir, Methodist Women’s Club, Active Adult Class and leader of the Prayer & Praise Group. She served as a delegate to United Methodist Annual Conference. Nancy was a giving person, volunteering to feed the homeless and contributing regularly to numerous charities. Nancy was Valedictorian of Bergholz High School class of 1953.
Preceding Nancy in death were her son-in-law Alan Towe; brother Clayton Farnsworth Jr. and two sisters Janice Simmons and Helen Tubbs. Surviving are her husband Doyle R. Ohler; daughter Debra Ohler Towe of Baton Rouge, LA; two sons David (Terry) Ohler of Madison, OH and Danny (Kelly) Ohler of Marysville, OH; five grandchildren Dylan (Karla) Towe, Devin (Sally) Towe, Lexi Ohler and Alex and Nick Miller; sister Barbara (Ted) Sushka of Indianapolis, IN. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Wednesday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. and Thursday at Wintersville U.M. Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial will be at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
